Esmera to Deliver 9 Brand-New Properties at A Former School Site in Necton, Norfolk
Work has started on-site at a former school in Necton, Norfolk.
The former school buildings, which have remained unoccupied, aside from the swimming pool for 17 years, were demolished in the latter part of last year to pave the way for a new residential development.
During the demolition process, Esmera collaborated closely with Necton Area Trust and Necton Parish Council to preserve and relocate artwork that was created by former students in 2003. This artwork is currently awaiting installation in the nearby Queen Elizabeth’s Memorial Wood, where it will stand as a timeless tribute to the school’s history.
Esmera’s new development on School Road will be their first project in Norfolk. The development will showcase a selection of contemporary 3- and 4-bedroom homes tailored to meet the demands of modern-day living. The construction is expected to be completed by early 2025.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, David Gluckstein, the Head of Esmera, commented: “We are thrilled to bring forth these brand-new homes and add to this thriving community in a marvellous part of Norfolk. This development will demonstrate our ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, contemporary housing. I look forward to seeing the site evolve over the coming year.”
To facilitate the sale of these properties, Esmera has appointed William H Brown estate agents in Swaffham. The properties are scheduled to hit the market in April 2024, offering prospective homeowners the opportunity to acquire a modern and stylish home in this sought-after location.
Not only does this development breathe new life into the former school grounds, but it also contributes to the growth and development of the Necton community.
